どちらもできます。.icl は Windows の NE 形式のアイコンライブラリで、Flash Pixel は読み込みと書き出しの両方に対応しています。書き出しの際は、書類内のキャンバス名がライブラリのグループとして保持されます。開くときは、ほかのファイルと同じように「開く」から選ぶか、ファイルをアプリで開いてください。

はい。.icns は旧世代の形式を含めた全世代の読み書きに対応しています（色が Mac のシステムパレットに収まる場合は System 7 スタイルのインデックス形式でも書き出せます）。Classic Mac 時代のリソースフォークに入ったアイコン（ICN# 系・cicn・ICON・SICN・CURS）の読み込みや、.dll / .exe の NE / PE リソースからのアイコン抽出にも対応しています。

標準パレットは 11 種です — 白黒、グレー 16、Mac 16 / 256、Windows 16 / 256、Web セーフ 216、クレヨン 48（既定）、NES、PICO-8、ゲームボーイ風。カスタムパレットも作成でき、GIMP（.gpl）/ JASC（.pal）形式の読み込み・書き出しに対応しています。

背景の透過部分は市松模様（チェッカーボード）で表示されます。透過色を指定することもできます。あわせて、グリッド線の表示（太さ 3 段階）とピンチズームで、細かい部分を確認しながら描けます。

iPad では、Apple Pencil で描き、指でパンとズームを行います。役割が分かれているので、手を画面に置いたまま描けます。ダブルタップでペンと消しゴムを切り替え、スクイーズ（Apple Pencil Pro）でツールを順に切り替えられます。指で描きたい場合は、指描画のトグルをオンにしてください。

Flash Pixel はドキュメントベースのアプリで、書類は通常のファイルとしてローカル、またはご自身の iCloud Drive に保存できます。書類形式は Mac と iPad で同一なので、iCloud Drive を通じて同じファイルを両方で開けます。.flashpixel 書類はサムネイルとプレビュー（QuickLook）にも対応しています。

Yes, both. .icl is the Windows NE-format icon library, and Flash Pixel supports reading and writing it. When you export, the canvas names in your document are preserved as groups in the library. To open one, choose it from the Open dialog or open the file with the app, just like any other file.

Yes. .icns files can be both read and written across all generations (when the colors fit the classic Mac system palette, Flash Pixel can even write the System 7-style indexed formats). Flash Pixel can also read icons stored in Classic Mac resource forks (the ICN# family, cicn, ICON, SICN, and CURS), and extract icons from the NE / PE resources of .dll / .exe files.

There are eleven built-in palettes — black & white, 16 grays, Mac 16 / 256, Windows 16 / 256, web-safe 216, Crayons 48 (the default), NES, PICO-8, and Game Boy-style. You can also create custom palettes, and import or export GIMP (.gpl) and JASC (.pal) palette files.

Transparent areas are shown as a checkerboard, and you can designate a transparent color. Grid lines (in three thicknesses) and pinch-to-zoom help you check the fine details while you draw.

On iPad, you draw with the Apple Pencil and pan or zoom with your fingers — the roles are separate, so you can rest your hand on the screen while drawing. Double-tap switches between pen and eraser, and squeeze (Apple Pencil Pro) cycles through the tools. If you prefer drawing with a finger, turn on the finger-drawing toggle.

Flash Pixel is a document-based app: your documents are regular files stored locally or in your own iCloud Drive. The document format is identical on Mac and iPad, so the same file opens on both via iCloud Drive. .flashpixel documents also support thumbnails and previews (QuickLook).

Flash Pixel runs on Macs with macOS 26 or later, and on iPads with iPadOS 26 or later. It is iPad-only on that platform — it is not available for iPhone.
