01動作環境

• macOS 26 以降（Apple シリコン・Intel の両方に対応）
• テーマフォント／テーマカラーを PowerPoint で使うには、Mac 版 Microsoft PowerPoint が必要です。検査と修復は PowerPoint が入っていなくても動きます。
• ネットワーク接続は不要です（Deckroom は通信を行いません）。

02はじめかた — Office のテーマフォルダーに接続する

サイドバーの「Office Library」を開き、Connect Office Theme Library からフォルダーを選びます。macOS のセキュリティ上、この選択はあなたが手で行う必要があります（アプリが勝手に探して開くことはできません）。

通常の場所は次のとおりです。Finder で 移動 > フォルダへ移動…（⇧⌘G）を開き、貼り付けてください。

~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Themes

一度つなぐと次回以降は覚えています。別の場所に切り替えたいときは、同じボタンから選び直してください。

03テーマフォント／テーマカラーを作る

Theme Fonts では、見出しと本文それぞれに欧文・日本語（East Asian）・複雑文字（Complex Script）のフォントを割り当てて、名前を付けて保存します。Mac 版 PowerPoint にはテーマフォントを新しく作る画面がありません。ここで作ったものが、PowerPoint の「フォント」メニューにそのまま現れます。

Theme Colors では 12 のスロット（Text/Background 4 種・Accent 1–6・Hyperlink 2 種）を編集します。Accent 1 から補色・類似色・三色配色などで残りを生成する補助もあります。

04作ったテーマが PowerPoint に出てこない

PowerPoint を再起動してください。PowerPoint はテーマの一覧を起動時に読み込むため、起動したままではメニューに反映されません。

再起動しても出てこない場合は、接続したフォルダーが正しいか確認してください（上の 02）。Theme Fonts と Theme Colors という名前の下位フォルダーに書き込まれます。

05プレゼンテーションを検査する

ウインドウに .pptx をドロップするか、File > Open Presentation…（⌘O）で開きます。読むだけで、ファイルには一切書き戻しません。

• Overview — スライド・レイアウト・マスター・ノート・配布資料の構成と、マスターごとのテーマ
• Fonts — 使われている書体の一覧。テーマ経由か直接指定かを区別し、行を開くとどこで使われているかまで辿れます
• Language — 言語タグの分布。期待する言語に印を付けるまで評価しません（推測はしません）
• Audit — この Mac に入っていないフォント・直接指定・想定外の言語・マスター間のテーマ不一致

06修復する — 元のファイルは変わりません

Repair で規則を組み立て、Preview Changes（⌘R）で何か所が変わるかを見てから、Save Repaired Copy…（⌘S）で別名の写しを保存します。元のファイルへの上書きは、アプリの内部で拒否されます。

• フォントの置き換え — 直接指定された書体だけを差し替えます
• 言語の一括変更 — 言語タグと代替言語タグが必ず一緒に動きます
• テーマの差し替え — マイテーマのテーマを丸ごと適用します（フォントと配色が同時に変わります）
• 整える（Normalize） — 直接指定がテーマの書体と同じなら、テーマ参照へ寄せます。見た目は変わらず、以後テーマに追従するようになります

07修復が触らないもの

次の面は、読み取りの対象にしていないため、直せるとは言いません。

• テーマ自身のフォント定義（テーマを差し替えれば変わります）
• グラフ（chart）の内部に書かれた書体
• 箇条書きの記号に使う書体（buFont）
• 記号スロット（sym）— テーマ参照そのものが存在しないため、寄せる先がありません

08よくある質問

パスワードで保護されたファイルが開けません。
暗号化されたファイルは扱えません。PowerPoint でパスワードを外してから開いてください。

「入っていないフォント」に心当たりのない名前が出ます。
この Mac に実体が無い書体を、実際に使っている箇所だけ挙げています。macOS が後からダウンロードできる書体（游ゴシック体・BIZ UDGothic など）も、いま入っていなければここに出ます。

日本語の資料で「テーマ参照が解決しない」と出ませんか。
出ません。日本語のデッキではテーマの East Asian スロットが空のまま参照される形が普通にあり、これは問題ではないので報告しません。

テーマフォルダーを書き換えるのが不安です。
書き込む前に必ずバックアップを取ります。Show Backups in Finder から場所を開けます。

修復した写しを PowerPoint が「修復が必要」と言います。
元のファイルの時点で同じ表示が出ないか確かめてください。Deckroom が書き出した写しでこの表示が出た場合は、不具合として報告してください（下記 10）。

09いまはできないこと

次はこの版に入っていません。今後の版で検討します。

• 複数ファイルの一括処理（Batch）と、規則の保存（Presets）
• 色の正規化と、2 つのテーマの比較
• グラフ（chart）内部の書体の検査・修復
• コントラストなどのアクセシビリティ警告
• .thmx の書き出し

不具合の報告には、次があると原因に早く辿り着けます。

• macOS のバージョンと Deckroom のバージョン（Deckroom > About Deckroom）
• どの画面で何をしたか（開く → 検査 → プレビュー → 保存 のどこか）
• 画面に出たメッセージ（そのまま貼り付けてください）

資料そのものは送らないでください。機密のことが多く、こちらでも受け取らない方針です。再現に必要なときは、内容を含まない最小の例をご相談のうえ作ります。

01Requirements

• macOS 26 or later (Apple silicon and Intel)
• To use your theme fonts and theme colors, you need Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac. Inspecting and repairing presentations works without it.
• No network connection is needed — Deckroom does not communicate over the network.

02Getting Started — Connect the Office Themes Folder

Open Office Library in the sidebar and choose Connect Office Theme Library. macOS requires that you pick this folder yourself — an app cannot go looking for it on its own.

The usual location is below. In Finder, press Go > Go to Folder… (⇧⌘G) and paste it:

~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Themes

Once connected, Deckroom remembers it. To point somewhere else, use the same button again.

03Building Theme Fonts and Theme Colors

In Theme Fonts, assign Latin, East Asian and Complex Script faces to the Headings and Body slots, then name the scheme and save it. PowerPoint for Mac has no screen for creating a theme font scheme. What you build here appears directly in PowerPoint’s own Fonts menu.

In Theme Colors, edit all twelve slots (four Text/Background, Accent 1–6 and two hyperlink colors). A palette generator can derive Accents 2–6 from Accent 1 — complementary, analogous, triadic or monochrome — as a starting point.

04My Theme Doesn’t Show Up in PowerPoint

Restart PowerPoint. It reads the list of themes at launch, so a running copy will not pick up a new scheme.

If it still does not appear, check that you connected the right folder (see 02). Schemes are written into the Theme Fonts and Theme Colors subfolders.

05Inspecting a Presentation

Drop a .pptx onto the window, or use File > Open Presentation… (⌘O). Deckroom only reads it — nothing is ever written back to that file.

• Overview — slides, layouts, masters, notes and handouts, and the theme behind each master
• Fonts — every face in use, separated into “through the theme” and “written in directly”. Open a row to see where each one is used
• Language — how language tags are distributed. Nothing is judged until you mark the languages you expect — Deckroom does not guess
• Audit — fonts missing from this Mac, direct formatting, unexpected languages, and masters whose themes disagree

06Repairing — Your Original Never Changes

Build the rules in Repair, see the exact count with Preview Changes (⌘R), then write a separate copy with Save Repaired Copy… (⌘S). Overwriting the original is refused inside the app.

• Replace a font — only faces written in directly are touched
• Replace a language — the language and alternate-language tags always move together
• Swap the theme — apply a whole theme from My Themes; fonts and colors change together
• Tidy up — where a directly written font matches the theme’s own face, point it at the theme instead. Nothing looks different; from then on the text follows the theme

07What Repair Does Not Touch

These surfaces are not read, so Deckroom does not claim to fix them:

• The theme’s own font definitions (swap the theme to change those)
• Fonts written inside chart parts
• Bullet-character fonts (buFont)
• The symbol slot (sym) — there is no theme reference to point it at

08Frequently Asked Questions

A password-protected file won’t open.
Encrypted files are not supported. Remove the password in PowerPoint first.

“Missing fonts” lists names I don’t recognise.
These are faces that are actually used somewhere in the deck but are not installed on this Mac. Fonts macOS can download later (Yu Gothic, BIZ UDGothic and similar) also appear here while they are absent.

Will Japanese decks be flooded with “unresolved theme reference”?
No. Japanese decks routinely point at empty East Asian slots in the theme; that is normal, so it is never reported as a problem.

I’m nervous about writing into the Office themes folder.
A backup is taken before every write. Show Backups in Finder opens the location.

PowerPoint says the repaired copy needs repairing.
First check whether the original shows the same message. If a copy written by Deckroom triggers it, please report that as a bug (see 10).

09Not in This Version

These are not included yet and are under consideration for a later release:

• Batch processing across several files, and saved rule presets
• Color normalization, and comparing two themes
• Inspecting and repairing fonts inside chart parts
• Accessibility warnings such as contrast
• Exporting .thmx
